We’re always on the look out for great sandwiches.  Not only do we consider ourselves good winemakers at Idle Cellars, we also think of ourselves as expert sandwich makers.  We were delighted to get our wine into the modern Jewish style deli Shorty Goldsteins right off Union Square at 126 Sutter Street in San Francisco.  Shorty’s uses fresh, local and sustainable ingredients in traditional and modern Jewish cooking, with everything made in house, by hand.  They make excellent pastrami and delicious potato salad.  You can get a glass of 2010 Idle Cellars Chardonnay and 2009 Idle Cellars cab.  We strongly recommend a visit, it’s worth it.
