Idle Cellars is thrilled to announce that we have won a silver medal for our 2012 Viognier at the 2014 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.

As the first wine competition we have entered we are humbled to be recognized for our craft. We are certainly proud of our 2012 Viognier with grapes hand selected from Kick Ranch Vineyard, the delicate white has hints of pear, pineapple and Crenshaw melon. It pairs well with a variety of meals and flavors, providing us with a multitude of idle moments. Grab a case on our website before word gets out: https://idlecellars.com/store/idle-cellars-viognier

There will be a special in the Food and Wine section of the San Francisco Chronicle on Sunday, February 9th featuring all of the festival winners. A list of the Viognier winners, including Idle Cellars, can be seen here: http://winejudging.com/medal_winners_2014/241.htm

We will also be pouring our wine at the San Francisco Chronicle’s Public Wine Tasting at Fort Mason in San Francisco on Saturday, February 15th along with other competition winners. It will be one of the best wine events of the season, so come out and find us! Information and tickets can be found here: http://winejudging.com/event_tickets.htm
