Thursday, November 13th Idle Cellars is teaming up once again with Mr. Mind and Eat Me Speak Me to throw a special wine dinner in Atlanta, Georgia – Eat Me Yakitori. The last event at Eat Me Speak Me was such a success that we just had to do it again. Eat Me Speak Me specializes in local food and leisurely dining, so naturally this was a match made in heaven.
We haven’t gotten a glimpse at the menu yet, but given the previously demonstrated genius of Chef Jarrett Stieber, this dinner is sure to be memorable. The last Eat Me Speak Me Idle Dinner started off with a sweet pepper soup with fresh guajillo, edamame, and rice cracker paired with the 2013 Idle Cellars Sauvignon Blanc. The second course was a hakurei turnip salad with ga apple, peanuts, aji limon chile, turnip greens and yogurt paired with the 2012 Idle Cellars Viognier. The main course featured an exquisite braised brisket with nardello pepper, baby bok choi, scuppernong, and fig mustard, paired with the 2010 Cabernet Sauvignon. Stieber finished off the meal with a wonderful dessert of goat milk panna cotta with prickly pear butter, panko streusel, and lime paired with the 2011 Petit Sirah. If that doesn’t sound delicious enough, just take a look at some of the pictures:
Space is limited so make a reservation by emailing [email protected]. The meal with wine pairing is $60/head. We hope to see you there!
Cheers!
