History and Stewardship

Speedy Creek Vineyard's Essence

Nestled high above Calistoga in Knights Valley, Speedy Creek Vineyard has been lovingly tended by Dave and Kathy Burston since they purchased the virgin land in 1986. This 91-acre vineyard features sandy loam and volcanic ash-rich soils, perfectly suited for Sangiovese and other robust grape varieties. Certified sustainable, every vine reflects their dedication to quality and deep understanding of the unique microclimate.
