History and Terroir

Discover Los Chamizal Vineyard

Established in 1976 by Peter Haywood, Los Chamizal Vineyard thrives in Southern Sonoma Valley. Its terraced vines on steep hillsides up to 800 ft. elevation, coupled with diverse soils ranging from sandy clay loams to fractured basalt, create an ideal environment for cultivating Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc grapes.
