2009 Idle Cellars Grenache

A light smooth red wine. The color resembles a sexy goth girls lipstick. The bouquet is filled with notes of cinnamon, nutmeg and cocoa. With strong strawberry and raspberry flavors in the front palate we find a very subtle hint of pomegranate fruit lingers in the back palate. The balance of acidity, soft tannins and low alcohol create a velvety feel from start to finish. A good summer red wine that pairs well with fresh vegetables, summer salads, meats on the barbecue and good friends.
