Idle Cellars

      The table clothes were neatly spread over the tables. Each utensil was placed on the table like it was ready for battle. Two wine glasses were off to the right, a single water glass to the left.

We love to bottle our wine.  It is one of the greatest pleasures as a winemaker to bottle as it brings to a close the long period of aging in barrel.  It is the final stage of a two year process (for red wines).  This years April bottling was filled with 3 different varietals and 2 vintages.  We bottled 95 cases of 2009 Idle Cellars Grenache sourced from Kick Ranch.  With

    Wine tasting events always have the potential to be full on parties.  This years San Francisco Vintners Market was just that.  A two day wine tasting event at Fort Mason in the Marina District of San Francisco, the Vintners Market hosted over 100 wineries, distilleries, beverage accessories and eateries.  With our friends in town and the Idle crew representing str

      The best part about underground dinning is not knowing the location of the event or what to expect until you walk into the front door. Being surprised can be a wonderful thing. For the A Moose Bouche inaugural event they chose the location of a biker bar called Godspeed located in Emeryville California.
