      Harvest seemed to just fly by this year which is fine with us because it went so well.  All of our fruit and fermentations have smelled so tasty and been so smooth, in essence very idle.  We're particularly impressed with the Mountain Terrace cab.  It is big, forward and smooth.  We are thinking this wine has serious rock star potential.  We

Wine tasting in the cave during punchdowns.  Eric and I just tried the 2009 Ladi's Syrah.  It was tasting a little funky about 3 months ago so we racked it.  10 weeks after the racking its totally come back together and tastes delicious.  The Grenache which we are going to blend into the Syrah lifted up the strawberry fruit quality and adds great mouth feel to the front palate.
