Idle Cellars at the SF Vintners Market

Wine tasting events always have the potential to be full on parties.  This years San Francisco Vintners Market was just that.  A two day wine tasting event at Fort Mason in the Marina District of San Francisco, the Vintners Market hosted over 100 wineries, distilleries, beverage accessories and eateries.  With our friends in town and the Idle crew representing strong this event was a total party.  Much to the disappointment of many wineries, Groupon was selling half price tickets and advertising the event as all you can drink.  Normally a quieter more wine focused crowd, this year was a younger crowd just discovery their wine feet.  The 2008 Idle Cellars Sangiovese was a hit of the weekend and by far our biggest seller.  People loved the label and the younger wine making vibe that came with it.  Everyone was dressed for the club, full of swagger drinking all the fine wine they could.  It turned out to be  beautiful all weekend, walking out on the docks after a day of talking about wine was extremely Idle.  We want to thank everyone who attended, their great attitudes and their continued support of  Idle Cellars.
